Who’s likely to experience initial shedding side effect with the Capillus cap?

My dermapathologist suggested LLLT for my AA. I’ve seen some hair growth from my treatment of 3 years of Rogaine, finasteride and Spirolactone. But my temporal follicles are not responding well. I read that some experience shedding when first using the lasers. why do some patients experience this, and some don’t? My new Capillus arrived and I’m terrified that I’ll shed - yes, I know that it’ll be temporary. Each time my doc increases my finasteride dose, I shed. I have v sensitive follicles!!

Shedding does not occur for everyone but it does occur and indicates that hairs are moving into a growth phase.  If you have a lot of velds or miniaturized hairs, those are the hairs that are see-through and tiny and are responsive to medical therapy, you have a higher likelihood of shedding.  I would highly recommend to consider topical finasteride as well since it has been a breakthrough for men who want to get significant hair growth without a significant risk of side effects.  The right formulation is very important.

Shedding is not a bad thing as there are changes that are happening beneath the surface.  The capillus should not cause you to shed much.  Give it some time and hopefully you will see better results.
