Answer: Vaser liposuction recovery Thank you for providing photos for reference. You may feel “lumpy” and irregular along suctioned area as you heal. Massaging those areas will hasten their softening and they will eventually decrease with time. Also, 5 days is too soon for pain and discomfort to go away. At 2 weeks, most of the swelling and bruising will usually resolve but may persist up to 6-8 weeks. #Recovery varies greatly between patients. You can usually begin to see #results 2-4 months later as the swelling continues to diminish and contours become more defined, but improvement will continue for 4–6 months as swelling and irregularities resolve. These contours can even improve throughout the year after surgery. Please be patient and continue the aftercare prescribed. Circumferential pressure (garment) is recommended for 4-6 weeks then you can change into Lycra or Spandex for more comfort beyond 6 weeks. Do not hesitate to contact your surgeon if you have any more concerns. #RealSelf100

Answer: Post Liposuction Irregularities, Swelling -- Try Massage, Velashape or Venus Legacy With Your Compression It takes weeks to see the results of liposuction and swelling can last for months. Massage, RF treatments and hyperbaric oxygen will drastically reduce swelling. In my practice most of my patients have very little pain 1 week after following my liposuction post-op protocol. It is normal to have swelling but not normal to have much fluid. I suggest speaking with your physician if you have irritation from your garments. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Pain after surgery The recovery process is different for everyone. You should expect some bruising, swelling and pain after your procedure. If you feel like you’ve lost sensations in the areas treated, don’t be alarmed. As your nerves begin to regenerate feeling and sensation should return to normal. Swelling and bruising may linger for as long as several months. Some areas may become hard and lumpy, this is normal and will go away when fully recovered and with regular massage. Some patients may experience prolonged firmness of tissues or even be able to feel a lump. This is temporary. Massaging will help soften and smooth these areas. The firmness of the tissue indicates your body is not completely healed.I would recommend following up with your surgeon for exact instructions and guidance. I wish you the best!

Answer: Should I still be in same amount of pain? (photos) few issues you obviously are not aware of even wth ALL your research! #1. The doctor you chose was not a boarded PS! #2. Vaser Lipo is like internal burns that cause late amounts of fluids to accumulate. If drains were not used than this goes back to the expertise of the preforming doctor. You need examination and maybe a scan to determine if the excess fluids can be drained either by aspiration or placing a drainage system surgical. Best to call your surgeon to ask your million and first question....Or seek paid boarded PS to take over your care. Sorry
