My dentist's hygienist adjusted my crown and I felt her slip and the drill bumped the front of the crown. Now, I can see an ugly scratch on the front of my front tooth where the glaze has been messed up. Should dentist let her adjust crowns? Is she supposed to do that? What should I do?

While it may not have seemed "off" when the crown was seated, the bite may be "off". Since it is so close, it won't take much to adjust/polish/fix. However, it IS possible that there is more to it, and should be tested/investigated to rule out a nerve issue that would require root canal therapy.
