4200 grafts FUE operation that took place 2 years ago. Doctor transplanted 2000 grafts in front area, 500 in middle, and 1700 in crown area. Front and sides look nice, but it bothers me that my hair looks so thin whenever I lean my head forward. Is this a good result? What can be done to cover the remaining area? Doctor said that he can extract another 1500 grafts and wants to distribute them evenly in the front and crown area. I was thinking 1000 grafts front and rest crown. What should I do?

Hello,
Yes, with 2nd session you can experience shock loss, however it won't be permanent. When the growth begins, the hair you gained from the first operation will also grow back.
If you have alopecia areata, hair transplant success rate might be low. Considering that 40-50 grafts per square centimeter can be grafted, 1000-1500 grafts would be appropriate for the area you marked.
Yes, your donor area seems to be suitable, folliculitis can be treated with oral antibiotics before and after the procedure.
Scaring can not be corrected, but could be avoided in the future with the right medication
Best Regards
