Scabs do occur post op and are normal. They can be gentler cleaned with saline water, baby oil and baby shampoo

After the operation scabbing is normal. You need to remove the scabs starting from the 7th wash, in order the post operation stages to be successful

Scabs would expected to be cleaned in 15 days. All scabs could be cleaned with pressured (not gentle) massage to transplant area. Dont forget that you may wash your head with normal pressure from now on and if you need you can use a soapy/wet bath towel for massaging directly on the scubby area. You may repeat the cleaning massage and it really works very well to remove scubs.

The scabs do look normal. We advise patients to keep their hair moist with a saline spray for the first 72 hours to avoid thick hard scabs from forming.
