When fat grafting is performed, all of the fat does not take/ grow. Some of the fat will die and reabsorb. Under the best settings we only expect about 60-70% of the fat to take. Fat grafting is also highly dependent on the surgeons technique. For fat grafting, it is common to need additional fat grafting. I have never heard of it "fluffing" later and doubt this will happen. Rarely would I recommend gaining weight, but since you already feel that you are to thin, you can try gaining weight. The weight that you gain may preferentially go to the newly placed fat cells.Good luck..

Normally, 30% of the injected fat gets absorbed by the body during the following days / weeks after a BBL.  Your buttock appeared to have significantly more volume post-operatively because that fat hadn't been absorbed by your body yet.   If you gain weight, then yes, your buttock would increase in size however, other areas may be effected as well.  I recommend you have another round of liposuction with fat grafting should you feel it is not to your liking.
