Will removing rhinoplasty stitches hurt?

Removal of the stitches after surgery is fairly straightforward. By far the immediate postoperative period is the most painful part of the surgery; stitch removal is fairly painless. Removing the sutures takes only a few minutes and will be a distant memory in short order. 

Thank you for your question.  The removable sutures after a rhinoplasty can be sensitive when they are removed, but they should not hurt you!  Be sure to let your surgeon know about your concern, but I would not worry too much about this.I hope that this helps!-David Gilpin

Depending on what type of suture and how gently they do it. The area is usually sensitive so you will feel any manipulation in the area. It shouldn't hurt if done gently. Best wishes
