Difficulty breathing after rhinoplasty. What would you suggest? (Photo)

‏ two years ago I had a rhinoplasty, The surgeon suggested I do a combined surgery with septoplasty,But in the end I only did a rhinoplasty. I'm two years after the rhinoplasty and for the last year I can hardly breathe, my nose is blocked, I have migraines every morning and pressure in my eyes, ears and face, I'm constantly tired, dry nose,I can't workout. And I had sinusitis a lot in those two years. I read that second rhinoplasty is very complicated. what do you suggest?

Go see an ENT doctor to try to figure out what is causing your problems. If it is just the septum, you can get a septoplasty without having it be a "2nd" rhinoplasty because those are two distinct procedures. However, there is the possibility that the rhinoplasty worsened some of your breathing, in which case you may need the septo AND a revision rhinoplasty; that would be more complicatsed. But an ENT or facial plastic doctor should be able to hep you figure that out

Based on your photos, you appear to have a deviated nasal septum, based on the asymmetry at the base of your nose. You need to find the specialist who is capable of evaluating not only your deviated nasal septum, but also your nasal valves. Restoring your Airway May necessitate not only septoplasty, but also nasal valve reconstruction. Thank you for your question. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Hello and thank you for your question. You still have a deviated septum. This should be fixed during your revision and this will likely help your breathing. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
