Assessing how much fat can be harvested on low be in my patience is one of the most challenging parts of plastic surgery. The difference of 1/8 of an inch more body fat on the torso can make the difference between having enough and not having enough. And experience surgeon should be able to examine you and get a pretty good idea of how much fat can be harvested from each area. For most patients I prefer to harvest fat from the torso. I typically treat the torso as a single anatomic unit and treated the entire tour so when doing Liposuction in order to leave patients with a natural even thin fat distribution. A full tour so includes upper abdomen, lower abdomen, love handles, waste, fullback and under arm all the way to the side of the breast. A full tour so includes upper abdomen, lower abdomen, love handles, waste, fullback and under arm all the way to the side of the breast. if that is not sufficient then arms can be an excellent source for more fat as can inner thighs. Whether that much liposuction is needed or justified is another question. based on your statistics and pictures I’m quite certain a good plastic surgeon could get enough fat for a proper fat transfer for your breast. for someone who has a full B size breast cup I would typically graft about 500 mL per side. most likely doing liposuction of your torso with one other area would probably generate 1000 mL of fat butt an examination is definitely needed to make an accurate assessment. Delivering consistent quality liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than most people believe. This includes plastic surgeons. Most plastic surgeons really aren’t that great at this procedure and finding one who has mastered both Liposuction and fat transfer may be more difficult than people believe. Defined the best surgeon I suggest patients have multiple in person consultations starting locally. During each consultation ask each provider to show their entire collection I’ll be for and after pictures for the procedure you’re interested in. For common procedures like abdominal liposuction or breast fat transfer and experience surgeon should have no difficulty showing you a minimum of 50 sets of before and after pictures. Highly experienced surgeons will have hundreds or even thousands. Simply seeing a handful of preselected pictures which most likely represent the best results of the providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of each provider. This is why patients need to properly vet providers and be patient advocates and ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show all of their before and after pictures or at least as many as they’re willing to. Ask the provider to show as many pictures as possible of patients with similar body characteristics to your own. Ask the provider to show examples of excellent outcomes, average outcomes and less than outcomes. For fat transfer always confirm that after pictures were always taken at least three months from the date of the procedure. Anyone showing early postoperative results for fat transfer outcomes should be immediately dismissed as showing fake news or unrealistic results. Early fat transfer results can look very impressive but do not at all represent final results. Dismiss any provider showing pictures of patients still in the operating room or still having surgical markings. Look carefully and before and after pictures for any evidence of contour irregularities and review with the surgeon the areas they were treated versus areas not treated and look carefully at transition zones between treated and untreated areas. Finally I recommend reading all reviews and various physician review websites avoiding providers with any significant number of justified negative reviews. The absence of justified negative reviews is more important and more telling than having an abundance of positive reviews. In the end having a Breast implants is a lot simpler than going through Liposuction of your entire tour so unless liposuction is something that you really want to have. Fat transfer results are modest compared damn plants but can give one half to one cup increase in breast volume which is about 50% increased breast volume. The procedure does not change the shape of the breast but increases the size. In many ways you are a fairly ideal candidate for the procedure and that your breast have nice shape to start with and simply adding some volume would look good. I do not recommend anybody gain weight for the purpose of having fat transfer procedures. In the end by far the most important decision is choosing the right provider. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
