Is there a major difference in a smooth tuck to a tummy tuck?

Recently invented Nutational Infrasonic Liposclupture (NIL) system developed for solving several problems related with prior techniques using surgical incisions to remove excess fat tissue resulting in prolonged operation time, need of general anesthesia, more tissue damage, bleeding, higher complication rate, prolonged healing period and scarring. It is especially affective in difficult and large areas like the abdomen, buttocks, back, upper arms thighs and knees and in such areas superior to Laser Lipolysis System which is designed to be applied in gentle parts of body.

Garbage marketing

That sounds fishy...  A "smooth tuck" is not a real procedure.  It's just someone trying to create a buzz about something.  Check your surgeon's credentials carefully.  They need to be boarded by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.  Good luck!

Smooth tuck

Marketing ploy.  Seek out a reputable board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in abdominal contouring and who can recommend the appropriate procedure for you based on your needs.  Consult with one or more board certified plastic surgeons to discuss your options.

Smooth tuck

Smooth tuck is a marketed term that a surgeon used to describe his operation.  A tummy tuck is a tummy tuck that is varied for the individual's needs. Best of luck.

Tummy Tuck

Thanks for your question. It's not really a name you want but  a procedure that will give you the results you desire. A smooth tuck is liposuction of the abdomen and excision of lower abdominal skin. Another name for this procedure is a mini tummy tuck.

When considering reshaping of your tummy, you need to assess the amount and location of excess fat, tummy muscle position, the shape of the waistline, the amount and location of loose skin and the belly button position. That way you can customize the abdominoplasty to give you optimal results.

Is there a major difference in a smooth tuck to a tummy tuck?

I personally would not consider having surgery from a surgeon who uses gimmicky marketing names to rename common procedures like an abdominoplasty or a lipoabdominoplasty. I can assure you that every board certified plastic surgeon is capable of giving you a smooth tummy. The exact procedure that you will need will be dictated by your anatomy.

Please choose your surgeon based on education, experience, and results, not on their ability to come up with a  gimmicky name to try to make their procedure sound different from everyone else's.

Tummy tuck

Hello and thank you for your question.  There are numerous marketing names for what may actually be very similar types of tummy tuck procedures.  I would not select this based on the name of the procedure but place much more emphasis on the results shown by your surgeon.  If you are an appropriate candidate, a tummy tuck can be done through a low and short incision, all completely below the bikini line.  Your muscles can also be plicated resulting in a flat abdomen.  Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.  The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

Best wishes and good luck.

Difference between a "smooth tuck" and a tummy tuck?

The "smooth tuck" is simply a lipo-abdominoplasty as opposed to a traditional tummy tuck.  The lipo-abdominoplasty or smooth tuck removes fat from the upper and outer parts of the abdomen through liposuction and excises the area below the belly button, but there is no muscle repair.  In a traditional tummy tuck, the muscle separation is repaired and the upper and lower abdomen are tightened through tissue excision.  Both are good procedures but determining which is best for you is the most important choice.  It is good to get a few opinions to be sure that you are getting a fair assessment.  Good luck and see a board-certified plastic surgeon.

Tummytuck Techniques

I never heard of Smooth Tuck, but it sounds like a marketing ploy. Some surgeons tag a common procedure like abdominoplasty with a catchy name to try to stand out. Most traditional tummytuck operations include removal of redundant skin, abdominal muscle plication or tightening with or without liposuction for further contour improvement. When seeking the right surgeon for your operation, Plastic surgery board certification and experience trump fancy names for procedures. Good luck!
