Thank you for your question. An operation that induces adhesion and tissue suction on the cleavage to deepen the bone will be required. However, it can be improved to some extent, but it is difficult to expect a very dramatic effect.

The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained.

It is very likely that your heavy breasts are contributing to a symmastia like appearance. Just fixing the "zone of separation" to the sternal bone may not be enough; breast reduction may be needed to prevent recurrence. Otherwise, a combination of liposuction and deep sutures would be one of the ways to improve symmastia. It would be in your best interest to seek consultation of a board certified plastic surgeon in your area. Good luck.

You do not have synmastia. That is where someone gets breast implants and both implant spaces are connected to each other. You could have a lift done but you’re not going to like the scars especially with your dark skin color. If you want them a little smaller liposuction might be an option to consider.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Generally speaking, it is possible to correct congenital gynecomastia with surgery. An examination in person would be required to properly evaluate you and make specific treatment recommendations. That said, from your photos your mild asymmetry and synmastia would be difficult to entirely correct since your breasts do have a skin and soft tissue web like connection which can potentially be addressed with liposuction or what is referred to as a z-plasty. This involves a surgical scar and this particular area of the body is prone to hypertrophic or keloid scar formation.

Some women naturally have breasts that are separated by larger gaps than others. You have what we would call congenital symmastia, but it is not a terrible care. This simply means that either your skin over top of your sternum is not quite as adherent as some patient's or that the breast tissue that you have overlaps the sternum slightly. I think it in your case the weight of her breasts may be pulling the skin and soft tissue up from the sternum slightly. Surgical treatment of this alone is likely to leave you unsatisfied. You are not significantly overweight, however I think a small amount of weight loss could improve the appearance of symmastia in you. It is also possible that a lift with a small reduction could improve the contour. An in person consultation would be required to give a better recommendation

It is extremely difficult to fix but can definitely be improved. I would recommend a breast reduction or lift which will allow maximum manipulation of the tissues as well as exposure to the area. Usually we depend on sutures to repair symmastia , so, there is a high revision rate if the sutures fail. This is a tough case so make sure you see a board certified plastic surgeon.
