Expalnted a year ago after having implants for almost three years. No breast tissue really left & adhesions have occurred. I’m not sure if having a fat transfer will help me look more normal. I really just want the little bit that I had before implants which was a small A. Im not sure if it’s possible with the adhesions. My implants were 300 cc under the muscle. They bottomed out after nursing and had grade 4 capsular contracture.
Answer: Can I have fat transfer after having implants removed and being completely flat with adhesions after explant? (photo) In general, 200 cc per breast is typically the upper limit of fat injection recommended by most plastic surgeons. It is not that more cannot be injected; but on average, this has been determined to be the most that can be expected to live during one transfer. In general, 50% of the fat transferred survives. Multiple transfers would be required for additional cc's. In general, the abdomen and thighs are preferred donor sites but fat from other areas can be used. I use one small incision under each breast to make the scar as minimal as possible and then inject the fat wherever it is needed. Consult via email or Skype with a board certified PS to provide more information regarding the results you are seeking

Answer: Multiple Session Fat Transfer Fat transfer can definitely provide improvement, but it will take multiple transfers for optimal results. Based on your photo I am more concerned with finding enough fat for multiple transfers than I am about the adhesions themselves. The link below will give you an example of what other patients have achieved.

Answer: Fat transfer Dear loveowls, based on your photo and description, it looks like you might be a good candidate for fat transfer. Transferred fat should fill your breasts and give them more fullness. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: The Bellesoma Lift Women are dissatisfied with explant alone. After your 330 cc implants were removed the skin did not contract. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed are maintained, if not injured during your previous surgery. At the same time or later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. If you undergo fat transfers without a lift, your breasts will look like pancakes and will not have projection. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Fat Transfer After Implant Removal You'll really need an in-person exam. I think you need a good bit of volume, plus the scar tissue may make it harder to get a good result from fat grafting alone. An implant (even though you may be at risk of contracture again) possibly with ADM to cover it may be a better option.
