Should I massage lumps in my breasts after fat transfer?

April 3, 2019
Asked By:Glowgal in New York, NY

I had a fat transfer done 7 days ago, and I noticed 3 lumps in my left breast. I’m very sad and discouraged about this finding because I’m only one week post op. Will the lumps go away? Should I massage the area? My PS told me to massage the lumps but it causes some discomfort and I’m afraid to lose the fat that was transferred in. I’m slowly regretting my decision. Any advice from experienced doctors in Breast fat Transfer would be greatly greatly appreciated. Thank you.
