Should I massage lumps in my breasts after fat transfer?

some plastic surgeons recommend massages after surgery, others don't. I understand your concern. It is best that you consult your plastic surgeon regarding post operative care and management (i.e including massage techniques and timing) specific to your case. Your surgeon knows your condition well and has preferences on when and what to use for faster healing and recovery. Post operative care and management depends on the type of surgery performed and the technique used during surgery among other factors.

It is best, however, that you follow your plastic surgeon's advice on post operative care management for a smooth and faster healing and recovery.

Follow your PS's post-operative protocols.  It is reasonable to expect  lumps to improve or soften with time.  This process may take several months.  If the lump is the result of swelling, seroma, or  hematoma,  it should resolve quickly.  If the lump is fat necrosis or viable fat that becomes discrete and remains palpable, it may require further treatment like aspiration or removal.

I would avoid massaging at this point because you do not want to disturb the grafts. If the lumps are from swelling, they will go away. If lumps are present at 3 months, then massage. the fat should be fairly stable at that time.

It is best to follow your surgeon's instructions, however lumpiness is a normal part of the process and excessive massaging to the fat transfer site could affect how well the fat takes and stays in the area.  Be sure to check in to have your progress checked.Best of Luck, Dr. K.
