Can dermal filler fix ear deformity after surgery? (photos)

It is possible that filler would improve that notch. However, that is not guaranteed. The filler might just spread around the notch and not actually lift it. The notch can definitely be improved with an in-office revision. Dermal fillers will not correct your notch because it is located at the scar from your wedge excision.  Since the scar is less pliable than the adjacent skin, the filler will tend to expand the skin next to the notch, but not the area of the scar.  The notch could look actually look worse as the filler good accentuate the appearance notch.  Surgical correction is not difficult.  I would suggest returning to your original surgeon who should be just as unhappy with your result as you are.
