The ultherapy unit treats above the eyebrow to help lift that skin and in turn, help lift the upper eyelid skin. The forehead skin is thicker than the infraorbital skin (below the eyelid) and there may not be much room for the transducer (piece that rests against one's skin). After the company trains physicians with their protocol, many physicians gain experience from doing many procedures and discussing it with their colleagues and eventually treat in different ways than they initially learned.
