I’m not sure what to do about this. Would I have to get veneers or something first, then get the lip lift? My philtrum is so long and I despise it but I also don’t like my teeth.

Theoretically lip lift. But the key thing is what's the lenght of your philtrum? Lip lift is an excellent technique for shortening philtrum, augmenting upper lip & improving teeth show, but - as it's irreversible - the patient should have appropriate distance between upper lip & nose base....

generally speaking lip lift is designed create bigger upper lip & shorten philtrum (lenght between nose base & upper lip). But, as you say that you already have a very short philtrum (the question is how many mm it has), I don't this that this surgery will...
