Rosacea is a very common skin condition but not a condition that would preclude you from getting facial injectables. I hope that helps and wish you the very best!Warmest regards,-Gregory A Buford MD FACS PCEOBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon and AuthorCertified Allergan National MASTER Facial Injectables Trainer
Yes - you can. Since the fillers and Botox go under the skin they will not negatively affect your rosacea. In fact, a lot of fillers help rejuvenate the skin and can help with the appearance of your skin overall. I would suggest also discussing doing cosmetic treatments to help your rosacea simultaneously.. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hello,Thanks for your question. Yes, you can have both Botox/Dysport and filler injections even though you have rosacea. If you aren't being treated for rosacea, we can make recommendations for how to treat the disease. There is no cure for rosacea, only methods of suppressing it. In general, unless you are irritating the skin with microdermabrasion, microneedling, chemical peels, or laser, patients with rosacea will have a reasonably quick recovery after Botox/Dysport and filler treatments. If you have further questions, I practice in Cherry Creek.Have a great day!Dr. Shah
Great question, thanks for asking. Rosacea shouldn’t prevent you from getting injectables like fillers and BOTOX®, but it’s worth mentioning to your provider that you struggle with rosacea so you’re on the same page. He or she may also be able to help you with a customized skincare routine, if you don’t already have one, to help manage your symptoms. Many people with rosacea find that certain sunscreens cause redness. You might try a sunscreen that contains minerals like zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, rather than chemical ingredients that are absorbed into the skin. Hope this helps.
There is no interaction of filler or botox with rosacea and its completely safe to have treatments done.Everyone has unique expressions. Because Rosacea is a skin condition, it should not be affected by filler or Botox. Filler is injected underneath the skin to provide volume to targeted areas, and Botox is injected into a patient’s muscles. Should you still have any concerns, discuss your Rosacea with your provider beforehand and you should have nothing to worry about.
You should have no problem with getting injectables, as they are injected into the muscle, therefore bypassing the skin. I would recommend booking a consultation with a reputable and experienced cosmetic injector. Some even find that Wrinkle Relaxer can help with flushing and blushing.Warm Regards, Dr Glenn Murray, Absolute Cosmetic Medicine
Hi, thank you for the question. Rosacea is superficial flushing of skin and fillers are given deeper . Botox are purified proteins which affect muscles. There is no interaction of filler or botox with rosacea and its completely safe to go ahead with the treatment. I would recommend you to consult a reputable injector.Best Regards,Dr. Neel Bector
Rosacea is a commonly condition. It is okay to get Botox and filler treatments with Rosacea.
There is no reason that you couldn't have Botox injections with Rosacea. Rosacea is an inflammatory conditon of the skin. Botox is injected into the muscles below the skin and should not aggravate Rosacea.
You do not need a specified amount of time to have injections on your forehead after treating your chin. In the future you can have both areas treated at the same time. I've included a video about neuromodulators that I hope you find helpful.
If you are still able to animate then further Botox should help improve your results. You did the right thing by giving it the full two weeks for the final result. At this time you can return to your injector for further treatment, or another expert injector near you.
Thank you for the photos, this would require an in-person evaluation. Heavyness after Botox can be a result of over-Botoxing the area. Botox results last up to 3 - 4 months and can be softened with venus legacy, and thermage. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic d...
