I received botox on Feb 8 2019 I waited the full 2 weeks to for it to take full effect. However., I can move my forhead up and down and my eleven are still showing. So. I went back in and she gave me 2 units right above my left eye. I can still move my forehead. I have received botox for 1 year and this is the first time I am not happy. Is there a reason of some kind that is my fault?
Answer: Forehead Movement after Botox Thanks for the question and I understand your concern. If you have received adequate Botox treatments in the past, it may be the provider you used for this last treatment wasn’t as experienced and did not inject you with sufficient Botox to achieve your desired result. I would encourage you to find a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist with significant experience using Botox to ensure your treatment is both safe and successful. Experienced injectors know how much Botox to use and precisely where to inject it to produce an optimal outcome.

Answer: More Wrinkle Relaxer? It sounds as tough you just need more product. If you are seeing the same injector you could ask if they are using the same dose as they preciously used. I would advise you return to the clinic who performed your treatment and ask them for a top up. Ensure that the clinic is aware that you would like no movement in your forehead. Warm Regards, Dr Glenn Murray, Absolute Cosmetic Medicine

Answer: Should I be able to move my forehead after botox? It sounds like you did not get the appropriate amount of botox since you still have wrinkles in your glabellar region. Some movement of the forehead is desirable, most people don't want the frozen look, but in your case it seems like you are freely moving your forehead, further indication you may have not gotten enough botox. I suggest a second opinion.

Answer: Should I be able to move my forehead after Botox? This is not your fault. Results are dependent on the injector, and she may not have injected the appropriate amount of Botox into the areas being treated. I recommend following up with her, and if she is a new injector for you, discuss with her the typical amount of Botox you have received in past treatments, and possibly take your medical records to show her this. Adding more Botox is an easy fix, but let her know for future reference that you prefer no mobility in your forehead. Hope this helps!

Answer: Should I be able to move my forhead after botox? For some patients they prefer some movement of the forehead, most people don't want the frozen look, but in your case it seems like you are freely moving your forehead more that what you would like. Follow up with your injector and explain that you do not want to see any movement to the forehead. It may just be that you need more units to get no movement. Its an easy fix. Hope this helps.
