I had a very aggressive lower blepharoplasty with canthoplasty and still have chemosis and dry eye 3 months out. After the initial surgery both eye were very swollen with blood in the whites of both eyes and very bad chemosis. I was told that I was bleeding excessively during the procedure. I now have dozens of floaters I've never noticed before and my opthomologist was suprised by how many I have for a 43 year old. She said that the trauma of the surgery may have caused them. Could this be true?
