I'm 27 years old and my eye area looks good except for when I smile. Then I have extensive wrinkling under my eyes as well as bags. I take care of my skin (it tends to be congested so I do facials, peels, and have tried micro) and I am wondering if there is anything that can help with this. I am not willing to commit to botox or undergo surgery at this time. Thank you.
Answer: Non invasive considerations to fix the area around the eyes? Although blepharoplasty (eyelid) surgery is the only treatment that is long lasting there are a few things you can do that are of temporary help. Make sure you have an exam to make sure that you do not have weak eye muscles, ptosis, as your cause by an exam by a board certified specialist. Lower lids: Ceramide creams for the lower lids which in minutes as they dry the clear membrane tightens the lower lid skin minimizing bags and wrinkles. This lasts from 4-8 hrs and can be reapplied as needed. Radiofrequency, laser and peels tighten the skin with minimal downtime. Fillers for fat transfer #lipoinjection, to the lower lid to fill in the cheek-lid depression that casts shadows also helps many. For the upper lids, Botox in the crows feet area just below the brow will gently lift the lateral brow and lift a bit of the hooding on the side of your eye. This lasts about 3-4 months. Make sure you go to an expert injector associated with a Plastic Surgeon, Facial Plastic Surgeon, Dermatologist, or Ophthalmologist skilled in injections. #BestNonInvasiveEyelidOptions

Answer: It is normal to make these lines when you smile. At rest, there is really nothing wrong with your eyelids. The best approach for softening the crows feet lines in a crows feet line treatment using botulinum toxin ( botox, xeomin, or disport). The very mild chemical peels you are getting will not change these lines. Deeper peels and laser resurfacing can actually make them much worse. Then you can stand them any longer, then you are ready for cosmetic botulinum toxin.

Answer: Dynamic wrinkles "Dynamic" wrinkles are lines that appear as a result of muscle activity (i.e., when making facial expressions, such as the crow's feet visible around the eyes when smiling). The most effective option for reducing these wrinkles is botulinum toxin injections (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport). These injections weaken the muscles which contract and cause the dynamic wrinkles. Judicious reduction in the activity of the involved muscles leads to a reduction in the wrinkles of concern. While botulinum toxin injections are well-proven and safe to use for this indication, a formal in-person consultation with an experienced oculofacial plastic surgeon is always recommended prior to starting treatment.

Answer: Massive under eye wrinkles & bags when smiling-- what can I do? Based on the pictures, you should consider Botox, Xeomin, or Dysport to soften the muscle movements which may be contributing to the problem.A fractional CO2 laser can also help tighten the skin. An in=person consultation would be the best start. See link below for more information.
