Hi there, and thank you for your question. Tiny wrinkles and crinkled or dimpled texture around the mouth and chin area is typically treated with a procedure called Dermabrasion. This is a skin resurfacing procedure where I use a rapidly rotating device to carefully "sand" away the outer layers of the skin. This can be done under local anesthesia. Initial healing is around 7-10 days with visible redness lasting up to 6 weeks. Please consult with a Board-certified plastic surgeon or Dermatologist who can safely offer this procedure.

Wrinkles of the lip and around the mouth are notoriously difficult to treat.
I’ve yet to see a treatment that gives good quality lasting results.
I’ve seen all kinds of treatments tried and have done many myself, but I’ve never found something that really delivers.
Sun damage and aging just don’t always have treatments that can give the desired outcome.
Botox to the lip can help slightly as can fillers, but you know firsthand that these are going to be limited.
Some people may suggest dermabrasion.
The recovery is awful and in the end, the procedure doesn’t give the results patients had hoped for.
The same as generally true for ablative, laser treatments like CO2 laser treatments.
There may be others who are more optimistic, but whether they can really give you lasting air quality results is another thing.
There’s no shortage of demand for this.
If there was a treatment that worked we’d all be doing it.
