I had too much fat removed from my lower eyelids. Most hollow photos I see have hollows along the orbital rim. The bone I see is my eye socket. Looks so strange and it’s very difficult to look at my reflection these days. Looking at before pics I realized I should have been discouraged from having this procedure. Incredibly unfortunate.

You have a condition called Blefaroptosis which means the muscle responsible for elevating your upper eyelid, is weak. So you need the re-insertion of the muscle. That is not just skin resection. Actually you may not need skin resection.

It appears that very conservative blepharoplasty on healthy eyelid may expose more of the fold and create better symmetry. However, this is a very subtle surgery and should be discussed with a board certified plastic or Oculoplastic surgeon familiar with ptosis repair and eyelid surgery. Good luck.
