My upper body looks much wider than my lower body, I want to be more porportional with very curvy hips. I have "hip dips" that no matter how much I work out won't fill in. Just look narrow. I don't have enough fat for fat transfer I'm 5'3" 120lbs. I think I want 548cc oval, but I can't decide if under the muscle or under the facia is best? Im so confused as I have read so many conflicting reviews about the placement. I will post some wish pics and my current bod pic
Answer: Butt implants Dear madam, Thanks for posting your picture and wish pictures, though, a side back view of your butt, would have been very helpful. Obviously, you educated yourself about the different techniques of butt implants surgery. Use your judgement and woman's intuition to select the right procedure for you. It is critical that you observe carefully the before and after pictures in the photo gallery, to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive with nice 'S' curve, nice projection, round hips, single low incision in the crack and natural look. The sub fascial technique with oval round implants. allow for the implants to be placed laterally, filling up the indentations of the hip and creating round hips. That can not be accomplished with the intra muscular technique because the implants are smaller and are placed more medially, unable to fill up the hips. Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety and trust only the before and after picture with the above mentioned features. Best of luck, Dr Widder

Answer: Will buttock implants give wider hips...? Typically, a combination of sculpting of the waistline with liposuction and augmenting the buttock with implants provides the best chance for a long lasting and desirable "hour-glass" figure. However, please keep in mind that a physical exam is always first necessary before providing any final surgical recommendations. Please read on: Make no mistake, it is indisputable that the best position ("placement") for buttock implants is in the intramuscular plane not on top of the muscle and not "sub-fascial" which is exactly the same as on top of the muscle - so please do not be fooled by this terminology. The other important factors in creating the perfect derriere with implants is indeed selecting the right size AND shape. I have found the best way to assure this is to simply measure the actual dimensions of the patient’s buttock cheeks. With these anatomical measurements, I can select an implant that not only significantly augments the buttock but also supplies the correct 3-dimensional enhancement to look as real as possible...even in the most petite patients. Traditionally, teardrop oval implants have a 30+% risk of rotation and thus unnaturally change the buttock shape/appearance when doing so. However, two years ago I created and patented a new "Stanton Anatomic" shaped implant that avoids this issue AND provides as much projection as similar volume (cc's) round implants - I have not had a single rotation problem in 250+ patients. Additionally Stanton Anatomic buttock implants tend to maintain a more natural buttock shape/curve even when bending over - an otherwise not uncommon problem with round implants. This is a huge benefit by the fact that ~90+% of patients have more of an oval shaped buttock cheek than round, thus creating a much more natural and harmonious buttock contour for the majority of patients. Finally, buttock implants, including Stanton Anatomics, do indeed significantly augment the hips especially by filling in much of the "hip dip". So in summary, the only way for you to know what implant works best is to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon specializing in this procedure and have him/her take your measurements before selecting an implant and proceeding with surgery. Also not a bad idea to select the surgeon who has the most experience, the best reviews, and the most pleasing before and after photos.

Answer: Some things just are not possible Dear 26,Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a hip implant. And, unfortunately, there is no way that you are going to obtain the wish photo look that you have submitted with any kind of implant. I'm sorry to be the bearer of the bad news, but all too often patients expect too much from plastic surgery and that is where they get into trouble with complications. Accept what you can from buttock implants after a consultation with an American Board of Plastic Surgery board certified plastic surgeon that inserts them. They carry a rather high risk profile, so keep that in mind. Good luck!

Answer: Butt implants Hi, and thank you for the question Based on the information and photos you send us, I got to say we need more information (side and back pictures) however it seems you are great candidate for a liposuction with a fat transfer to your hips, to reshape your body and give you more curves. The implants can give you the volume and projection in the buttocks and the fat transfer the curves on your hips. As you can understand studies and test are needed to see if you are clear for surgery but in general, if you seek the attention of a certified plastic surgeon, you should have a great result and a normal life. So feel free to contact us for further evaluation. Thank you again and have a great day
