Will my boobs round out more as the upper pole fills the lower pole during drop and fluff? (photo)

Dear jlow.xoxo,dropping of implants is part of the healing process and this occurs after the tissues surrounding the implants slowly relax, allowing the implants to settle into their final position. It can take about four to six months for the implant to drop down to their final position.I understand that you are worried about your implants are not dropping as expected. However, you are still in the early phase of the recovery period. Please do allow some time for the healing process to occur. If after six months, you are not satisfied with the appearance of your breast, you can visit your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns.Daniel Barrett, MD

Congratulations on your recent surgery!  From your photos you appear to have an excellent early result.  You are very correct, that you are still very early in the healing process and the implants may continue to settle and swelling will continue to resolve.  Often this softens the appearance of the upper pole and give a rounder appearance to the lower pole.  I don't often see a big change in projection as this happens, but the overall appearance of the breast is significantly improved.  Make sure to follow the post op instructions with your PS and follow up with any specific questions or concerns.Best

Being 16 days post-op, you are still very early on in the
healing process. Dropping of implants can take up to six months until they have
settled. It is best to be patient. If you are still having concerns after that, I recommend scheduling an appointment with your plastic surgeon to discuss
your concerns.
