Dent under tear trough after filler? (Photo)

Question

I had a 1/2 syringe of Restylane injected into my tear troughs two weeks ago. Whenever I smile a have this very noticeable dent below my right tear trough. I was hoping it was swelling, but it seems to be getting more prominent with time. Also, the outline of the filler is noticeable on the right side. I’m going back to my doctor in a few days but would appreciate other thoughts and opinions!

Thankyou for your question.If it is 2 weeks since Restylane then this will not settle.. You either have to much product injected , too superficial or its affecting your lymphatic drainage.With all these options the only management is really dissolving some of the product. Hope this helps and good luck

Thank you for your question.  If it has been 2 weeks since your treatment it is unlikely that this is still swelling.  It may be that the filler was placed incorrectly, most likely too superficially, or the filler could have migrated.  
I recommend a consultation with a board certified injector to see what your best treatment options are.  If the filler is unwanted they may use hyaluronidase to dissolve. Best of luck!
