Hi! I'm a woman, 33 y/o, 1.66 m., 53 kg. I see that the skin on my lower face is a bit saggy, like when I look down. Love the way my face looks when I pull my skin back, that's how it used to look. I already have fillers in my cheekbones and don't want more. Would you recommend a SMAS-lift now and deep plane in 20 years? Is that possible? Don't want to pay for something that doesn't really work (I hear a lot of people aren't satisfied by Ultherapy). Thank you!
Answer: Facelift You did not post photos, so I will be general. Most your age do not need nor get much benefit from a mini-facelift or full facelift. A full facelift is rarely done at your age. I would suggest trying minimally invasive skin tightening like Renuvion if you have anything in the jowl and neck area, or continue with radiofrequency with micro-needling treatments like Secret.

Answer: Facial rejuvenation planning Thank you for your question. In the absence of images it is of course somewhat difficult to gauge indication for maintenance surgery. As a matter of principle, there is not much point to doing a SMAS lift now with a view to do a deep plane later as the decision of the SMAS facelift has significant overlap with the deep plane. If you have decided on a SMAS intervention and skin tightening, you might as well do the deep plane approach now and if needed repeat it in 20 years. If you would prefer to scale the treatments, you could consider at this point a minimal access facelift or thread lift and subsequent formal facelift after a number of years. The impact in terms of lift would be stronger than with energy based treatments. If you would like to maintain the result of the treatment of your choice, regular use of sun block protects the skin elasticity and the application should be on a daily basis rather than when the weather is sunny. In general terms, at 33 it is very early to consider a formal facelift, be it SMAS or deep plane, and I suggest that you discuss your concerns with several surgeons to get a balance of opinions before making a decision, and definitely try not to rush into it.

Once is temporary once is permanent (nothing is permanent I mean we turn back the clock)If you decide a surgery choose deep plane, but you have a hasitate try mesoterapy (not same results but some cases its work. Try to send photos next time. Thank you
