Scheduling your second CoolSculpting session exactly four weeks after your first session seems a bit premature, as your body is still in the process of expelling dead fat cells. You will see additional results if you wait 2 ½ to 3 months. This is especially important when you don’t have much fat to lose. Sometimes, you won’t even need the next session because you are so pleased with the results of your prior session. For instance, even though the recommendation is up to three CoolSculpting treatments, many of my patients are happy with just one session, because up to 35% of fat can be removed at one time if performed with the Zimmer Z-wave at the same time. Please find an experienced board-certified dermatologist to perform CoolSculpting followed by Zimmer Z-Wave radial pulsed therapy for best results.
Yes, you can have Coolsculpting a month apart, but keep in mind, it can take up to 6 months for final results. For best results with Coolsculpting, I recommend a combination approach. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. VASER with ThermiRF is a great alternative. Hello,Thank you for your question. The answer to this will really depend on your specific needs. If you are in the process of de-bulking, then treating this soon shouldn't be a problem. However, if you are unsure if you need a second treatment, you should wait 3-4 months to see the full results as legs can take a bit longer to see results. Please consult with your provider to determine the best course of action. Good luck!
Yes, 4 weeks is adequate downtime between treatments. Most of our clients are treated with their second treatment at week three to optimize results.
Hi and thank you for your question! It is safe to re-treat as soon as 4 weeks, however, we often recommend waiting 6-8 weeks to allow for more effect to be visible before the 2nd treatment. Full results are at 3 months. For most patients, we find they need and want that 2nd treatment, unless there is just a minor change needed or not much fat in the area. We like to set realistic expectations and if you need less treatments, even better! Best of Luck! Dr. Grant Stevens
While it is safe to treat as early as 4 weeks if you know you will definitely need more than one treatment, your full results from the first treatment occur over the first 3 months so if you wait, you may not need a second treatment once you see your full results.
Hello and thank you for your question. It is protocol and recommended by the company that if you are to repeat a treatment area with Coolsculpting you must wait at minimum 30 days. This is to ensure that no damage is done to that area with a re-treatment too soon. If you had any concerns or questions I would recommend following up with your certified Coolsculpting provider. Best of luck!
Thank you for the question. Yes, 4-6 weeks is enough time. Most patients notice best results after two rounds of treatment with a third sometimes needed. In some cases one treatment for a single area like under the chin can give dramatic results but usually you need two.Chase Lay MD
Thank you for your question. While some physicians recommend 60 to 90 days between treatments, others find 4 weeks to be even more effective. We find that 60 days is the optimal time frame for the second treatment.
Thank you for the question. Yes, you can retreat as early as 1 month. Although the most dramatic results aren't seen until 90 days, you are able to retreat in the same area as soon as 4 weeks. Should you wish to wait a bit longer that is certainly ok as well. Most of my patients do see phenomenal results after having had 2 treatments. I recommend contacting you Coolsculpting provider if you have any other questions or concerns. Best of luck!
The “new” applicator is more efficient and there is less suction, so that when it is removed, you don’t usually see the “stick of butter” seen with the older applicators. The tissue is frozen and stiff, but not raised up. Ideally after treatment you should be treated with Zimmer Z-Wave radial pu...
Thank you for your question. CoolSculpting targets only the fat cells and causes no other damage. The results are very reliable if correctly applied. So far I have not seen any patient having lumps with CoolSculpting. Usually, for the best results 2 sessions are required and recommended. Most...
Thank you for your question. The lumpiness you are describing could be the swelling, swelling is considered a normal side effect following a CoolSculpting procedure. It is a result of the inflammation that occurs as the fat cells die off. This should resolve within two weeks. You can always ...
