2 months after Hair Transplant, my hairline has diminished and the transplanted area looks bald. Is this normal?

I got my FUT HT on May 14, I could clearly see my hairline, but now hairline has diminished and transplanted area looks totally bald and dots at some places... But I could clearly see my hair line has reduced.... I'm worried, is this normal?? Does roots are still ter or fallen out.??

Hair loss after 2 months post surgery can be normal. It may look worse before it gets better.In general, transplanted hairs fall out weeks after surgery. In general, transplanted hairs start to grow for you to see results in 6 to 12 months. What you describe is not out of the ordinary.  If you believe something is wrong, call your doctor for a recheck.

It is normal and expected that you would have loss of the transplanted hair at this point. Because the hair is falling out does not mean that the grafting procedure is compromised. Typically between three and six months the hair will begin to regrow. When this occurs your hairline will be reestablished.

It is normal for all the transplanted hairs to fall out after a transplant.  The follicles themselves stay in place but the hairs fall out.  You need to give it over 6 months to a year to start to see the regrowth of transplanted hairs.  You may also have experienced some degree of what is referred to as shock loss of existing hairs after a hair transplant.  It is best to see your hair transplant surgeon to make this assessment.  If you have experienced shock loss, these hairs should all regrow.

Usually the hair shaft falls off after about three weeks but the follicles remain under the skin. The transplanted hair will start to grow In after three months and continue to grow up to 18 months.
