Is it possible to transplant my pubic hair to my scalp?

I am a 25 year old Asian female with naturally thin (not thinning) hair in terms of hair shaft diameter and the number of hairs on my head. Each year my hair is thinning even more. I consume biotin regularly and use Nioxin hair products. I looked at similar questions about transplant, but it only moves hair from one part of the scalp to another. I have thick and luscious pubic hair. Is it possible to transplant my pubic hair to my scalp? If this procedure is feasible, how much would it cost?

See a doctor for a number of graft recommendation. It's rather hard to do without even a photo.  If you are striving for maximum density, you probably will need two surgeries despite the number you are trying to figure out.  This is what a doctor needs to explain to you in person...

It is always a good idea to follow up with your doctor. You don't have to be upset.  If you believe something is not right, just call your doctor.  Transplanted hairs fall out weeks after surgery.  It starts to grow several months after surgery (6-12).
