Rhinoplasty surgery tends to lead to a lot of bruising and swelling around the eyes. In that regard, I would suggest waiting several months after Rhinoplasty to have your under eyes addressed. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr Joseph
That would not be a good idea for 2 reasons. At only 10 days prior to surgery that under eye filler not be fully settled and more prone to movement and swelling. Rhinoplasty typically involves cutting the bone near the tear and has a very good chance of moving the filler in this case. The swelling from the surgery might lead to prolonged swelling under the eyes when there is fresh filler in place. The best option would be to wait a few weeks. You'll have swelling in the tear trough anyway for at least 1 week after surgery, so no rush to have filler there. Hope that helps.
It doesn’t make a whole Lotta sense to have fillers, injected a week before having rhinoplasty surgery. It makes more sense to have the procedure, let yourself heal up and let the swelling and bruising settle down, then work on final touches.Best,Mats Hagstrom, MD
