I want to get rhinoplasty to narrow the width and make my tip shorter - is there anything else I should be considering? (Photo)

Addressing the shape of your nose (especially the width and nasal tip) is actually one of the most common reasons people seek out and undergo a rhinoplasty. With only front view pictures, it's hard to determine what else would help give you a nose that better balances and fits your face. Unlike many other types of surgery, there is wide variability in surgical technique and outcomes between different surgeons. A rhinoplasty is the best way to perform nasal modifications. I would highly recommend AGAINST nasal filler or any other type of non-surgical modifications of the nose.

From the photos, it looks like you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty of the tip. If you are happy with the bridge, you don't have to do anything to it. The cartilage of the tip can be reshaped to make it slimmer and more refined, but natural at the same time. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty specialist for consultation.

Based on your photos, I agree that you have a wide bridge, tip, and flaring nostrils. Without a profile photo it is difficult to determine if there are any additional issues with your nasal appearance. Overall you have a pretty nose. I agree that your nasal bones are wide and will better fit the mid portion of your nose after being narrowed. I also notice that your tip is "bulbous" or rounded which can also be improved with a rhinoplasty procedure. Creating a balance between the upper third (nasal bones), middle third, and lower third (nasal tip) is key to any aesthetic nasal surgery.

You may want to consider a lip lift. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. You may benefit from this at the time of rhinoplasty.
