When does one feel normal after Gynecomastia surgery?

Thank you for your question.After your #gynecomastia #surgery, #bruising and #swelling are normal and usually increase slightly
after the removal of any tape or foam. The bruising will decrease over 3-4
weeks, but may last as long as 6 weeks. The majority of the swelling will be
gone within the first 3-4 weeks. However it may take 6-9 weeks to disappear
completely. The compression garment helps reduce the swelling, and the longer

You should plan to be off work for up to a week and may feel sensitive and be swollen/bruised. The majority of swelling will be gone in a couple o f weeks, but residual swelling can last for several months.Physical activities usually have to wait until about two to three weeks after surgery.

recommend you wait for 6 weeks before resuming strenuous exercise after male
breast reduction surgery.This is about how long it takes to feel "normal."

How long it takes to feel normal is dependent on how extensive the surgery was. Surgery for gynecomastia my be simple or complex and may involve liposuction or not, placement of drains or not. You will have to discuss this with your surgeon.
