I have rhinophyma so after how many days rhinoplasty should be done?

i have rhinophyma so i am getting laser resurfacing done but at the same time i have big nose. so once i get laser resurfacing done, after how many days should i get rhinoplasty done. and will I get good results from rhinoplasty..because laser resurfacing thinner the skin of your nose and after rhinoplasty ,will rhinophyma can come up again ?

My suggestion is wait at least 6 mos after a laser treatment of rhinophyma before considering rhinoplasty.  The reason is twofold.  One, a laser of the depth required for rhinophyma will continue to remodel for at least 6 months.  During that time the skin regains some of its elasticity, and the blood supply normalizes.  That will allow it to better tolerate surgery.  A full year is even more reliable.The second reason is because your skin will be the limiting factor for the results you see from the rhinoplasty surgery.  If it's still thick after laser surgery, you can anticipate limited changes.  If the skin looks close to normal, you can anticipate more final definition from the surgery.  And your surgeon can also modify the aggressiveness of his/her changes during surgery with a better knowledge of your skin condition post-laser.

Timing for the above procedures depends quite a bit on the reason for the rhinoplasty.  Is is a cosmetic procedure to change the appearance of your nose, or a functional rhinoplasty to correct breathing?  If you were having a cosmetic rhinoplasty, most surgeons would advise that the rhinophyma is treated first to thin the skin and soft tissue envelope of the nose.  That way, the cosmetic changes are more visible at the time of surgery.  Most surgeons would advise many months (~6) in between the two procedures.If you were having a functional rhinoplasty and cosmetic changes were not being performed, the timing is less critical and the rhinophyma surgery could be performed before or after.  If the two surgeries were performed too close together, there may be healing problems due to disruption of bloodflow.Most surgeons may consider other methods such as dermabrasion to treat moderate to severe rhinophyma, but laser resurfacing would be appropriate for mild rhinophyma.  This post does not at all constitute medical advice, and I would recommend seeking consultation with a surgeon that can treat both of your issues so that you can have an integrated treatment plan, rather than having a separate rhinoplasty surgeon and laser treatment.Best wishes.
