Can I get a chemical peel if I have Crohn's Disease?

I am interested in getting a chemical peel after reading about the benefits. However, on some sites I've read that people with autoimmune diseases shouldn't get chemical peels. I have Crohn's Disease and am currently on an immunosuppressive drug. Would it still be okay for me to get a chemical peel? I'm really only interested in a light-medium peel, not a deep one.
