I had a breast augmentation in 2016, a few months ago one of the implants moved to an upper position which could be a bit uncomfortable especially after I wear a bra for a few hours, my question is how long can I wait before getting a surgery to fix it, and I also wondering if waiting too long to fix it not going to be harmful?
Answer: Surgery I would start wearing a breast band to encourage that implant to drop. If it is being stubborn, take Accolate and get ultrasound treatments. If after that, you may need surgery.

Answer: Status post 2016 breast reduction lift with implants now capsule formation? Based on your posted photo, it appears the one breast has an implant writing higher, which could be due to placement versus capsule formation, or both. Best to virtual consult with. Revision is indicated now to try to lower that implant or even replace implant if needed. Expect fees to range from $5000-$10,000. Again best to virtual consult.

Answer: Breast changes after augmentation I suggest you follow up with your plastic surgeon if available if not schedule a few in person consultations with other plastic surgeons in your community. I don’t think you need to be in a hurry but getting an assessment would be a good idea. Implants moving to a higher position is not very typical, but may represent the development of a capsular contraction. Typically with a capsular contraction the implant will feel a bit for me. In the most extreme, the implant will feel like a tennis ball. It’s not the implant itself that becomes firm, but rather the shrinkage or contraction of scar tissue around the implant called capsular contraction. The treatment of capsular contraction may be covered by medical insurance. It’s not considered a cosmetic condition and is considered a medical condition, so keep that in mind when discussing this with plastic surgeons. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
