I am currently 4 days post op And know it is really early on. However, I am nervous they are not going to drop. Not sure why they look like this right now?! Any insight to calm my nerves?
Answer: Will my textured anatomical shaped implants drop? Thank you for your question and photos. Shaped textured implants will not drop. Without preop photos it is hard to tell about your sagging of the breasts, but I believe you would've done better with a lift and placement of round implants. You still have sagging breast tissue off your implants inferiorly. Yes, I agree with the other panelists that you have swelling an so on, but you most likely will need another operation to improve the shape of your breasts and implant position. Stay in close contact with your surgeon so he/she can follow you during the healing process. Good luck.

Answer: 4 Days Post Op with Textured Anatomical Implants The final shape and size of your implants require approximated 2 to 3 months following your surgery, but it may be up to one year to see the end result. Your surgeon may require you to move or massage the implants within the breast pockets during the #postoperative period. However, #textured implants do not require breast massage. You will be informed about this at your post-operative visit. Also, the two breasts commonly heal quite differently so #assymetry is not unusual. One breast may swell more, feel more uncomfortable, or have a different initial shape. After complete #healing, they will be more similar and natural. You must have patience, but if there are ever causes of concern, ask questions of the doctor or the nursing staff.
