My surgery is next week, and my instructions say "no pullover tops." I am not really comfortable in button up shirts. I have plenty of tops that have wide enough neck holes that I can easily get the shirt off without it brushing against my face. Do you think it would be acceptable to wear something like that?

Answer: What to wear for surgery Hi Heather,I think that a loose top may be fine, but if you could wear a shirt that you don't have to pull over your head, that is better. I believe your doctor recommended "no pullover tops" because he or she doesn't want to risk damaging your nose or cast after surgery getting dressed, especially because you may be sleepy.Good luck!Dr. DeRosa

Answer: Can I wear a loose top to surgery? No reason why you can't. As long as it is easy to pull over your head it should be fine. It is always a good idea to wear comfortable clothes that are loose fitting.
