Are night sweats normal after rhinoplasty with septoplasty?

I have never had night sweats before. I usually take melatonin to sleep and ive been taking hydrocodone 5-325 for pain. So now i only take the pain med before bed but i still take melatonin. Could that cause night sweats?

Any operation can alter the physiology of the body and precipitate some unusual temporary side effects. Medications can contribute to this as well. I don't think you have anything to worry about but if they persist I would consult with your plastic surgeon.

Dear Lele13, The hydrocodone may cause some night sweats in some patients and should resolve as the dosage goes down.
