Didn't swell or bruise after surgery. Am I likely to heal faster? (photos)

Dear NYR2016,Count your blessings that you are off to such a wonderful start. A lot of the bruising comes from breaking the nasal bones doing what is called an osteotomy. Your narrowing bay have been achieved by raising your bridge with a graft rather than breaking the bones, or maybe you were just fortunate!Best of luck for a continued smooth healing process.Sincerely,

You are fortunate not to have any significant bruising or swelling after surgery.  That means that you did a thorough job icing after surgery.  There can be some new swelling that occurs over the second week depending upon your activity level, temperature, care.
