I had a closed revision rhinoplasty almost 3 weeks ago. Since the surgery, I noticed the nasal mucosa is lumpy, bumpy, and irregular inside the nostrils up against the septal wall (where the incisions were made). The right nostril is much more lumpy and irregular compared to the left nostril which has a smoother surface. What causes this and will it smooth out over time or is it a result of the way incisions were closed, etc? It doesn't feel infected; I've been using neosporin just in case.

Hello,If your are going to have a surgery on your nose, you might as well get the best result possible for defatting your neck: liposuction. Aside from that fact, Kybella is expensive and you'll need more than one treatment, which would be done while you're awake.Best of luck!
This probably happens more than is reported. The tissues are often very scarred in after prior surgery and this is likely from dissection. Often they go on to heal quite well. Best of luck and follow you surgeons advice.
