The treatment is performed lightly.  The procedure has been featured on shows like The Doctors.  The video is a bit misleading.  It provides minimal skin tightening and that does make a change in the upper eyelid fold so proponents claim an eyelid lift effect.  However, the result does not necessarily hold up unless enough resurfacing is performed.  The big problem is that this is a profoundly superficial treatment and you have a structural problem with your upper eyelids.  You appear to have upper eyelid ptosis and this is not going to get fixed with this procedure.  You will spend money and have little benefit.  Buyer beware.

Depending on the patient, Botox actually can be helpful and safe (when injected properly) to treat lines under the eyes. Laser resurfacing treatments can be helpful around the eyes, but the treatments have to be very conservative in patients with darker skin types, and as such, the results are less dramatic. An in-person consultation with a physician who specializes in facial aesthetic procedures would be very helpful to review the options in detail.All the best,
