The hyaluronic-acid based dermal fillers such as Juvederm, Volbella and Restylane Silk could do a wonderful job of evening out the volume in your lips. Volbella can last for up to 18 months. If your scar is visible (it can't be seen in the photo), this could also be improved by a number of procedures, such as microneedling and/or laser resurfacing. Consulting with a board-certified dermatologist will allow you to discuss in more depth the types of improvements you'd like to make and how to arrive at them with the various options that are available to you.
This may be improved with a revision and/or fillers (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm), lasers and microneedling/prp. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for sharing your question and photograph. If your injury took place 6+ months ago I would see an ASPS board certified plastic surgeon in consultation to discuss scar revision options. You may have had an excess amount of scar tissue develop which will require excision. If your injury was less than six months ago I would caution you to wait and allow your results more time to mature.
Depending on the injury to the lip you would either need a lip revision or possibly this can be corrected non-surgically with a small amount of fillers like Restylane. An in office consultation is really the only way to know if this is a good option for you. Please consult an expert in lip injections for the best cosmetic results. Best, Dr. Green
Thank you for your question and for sharing your photograph. How long ago was your injury? Based on your photo, you might be a good candidate for a surgical scar revision. Please be sure to see an expert for an in-person consultation to fully discuss your concerns and your goals and expectations in order to determine the best treatment plan. Hope this helps and best wishes!
