Question

Will a compression garment after being worn 24/7 for 4 months for Lipo make any difference in my results? Im 125 lbs. My Dr. is asking me to wear it 2 more months. I have had to alter everything about my life to "heal" +my 13 year job. I already see that all 3 areas lipoed were way too aggressive and created major dents and disfigurations... Seems other Drs will see me at 5 months. My body looks so mangled & Im tired of the protocol that isn't making a difference & the time/energy it takes.

I recommend following your Doctor's protocol regarding compression. I have my patients wear compression for 3-6 weeks straight then overnight for 3-6 months after their procedure. For liposuction after care, I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. It's not likely that wearing a garment at this point will change your final outcome.  As previously stated, it's most helpful in limiting early swelling, which by now should be resolved.
