I had a circumferential tummy tuck in 2007. My weight has fluctuated since, but I was never fully happy with how it left my butt and flanks. My buttocks are completely flat and my flanks protrude. I am curious if a bbl or fat transfer is even ideal for me. I know I'll need an in person exam, but I am curious if it is even a possibility for me since I have such a large scar across the top of my buttocks??
Answer: Candidate for a BBL? Ideal candidates are at a stable weight, in good health , and have excess fat in some parts of the body and too little in other regions. Gaining weight before the procedure is to no advantage and when you lose weight again the fat cells will shrink just like the donor site fat cells. Typically, the transferred fat results in a significant increase in volume of the body site being treated.
