I had a SEG in revision rhinoplasty to lengthen my nose. While the outside of my nose looks good, there is an obstruction protruding from my septum blocking the airflow/internal nasal valve of my right nostril. I lived for 5 months thinking it was swelling but when I saw my surgeon for a follow up, he me it’s not swollen and is the SEG. When I expressed that I had difficulty breathing, he told me this is my new “baseline” and to adjust to it. I did not have breathing issues before this.

Depending on your examination, microdroplet Silikon-1000 may be considered for lowering your left nostril permanently, while improving nostril symmetry. Consider surgery as a last resort. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph
Do you have any foreign bodies implanted in your nose? Did you have permanent sutures placed during your surgery? After more than 20 years of performing rhinoplasty, we have only seen infection when there is a foreign body (perhaps L-shaped silicone graft), or occasionally if someone is...
It seems that you may need very fine nose base, nostril surgery, which may need multiple cartilage grafts like allar, possibly butterfly? In person consultation with a true expert in rhinoplasty is recommended. Good luck.
