What can this be - keloid, resurfaced cartilage? 8 months post rhinoplasty. Unsure how to proceed.

Hello, 2.5 months after my open rhinoplasty, my nasal tip became infected. 3 rounds of antibiotics, 2 dermatologists, 1 steroid injection, 2 months of thinking it was a keloid and wearing silicone scar tape, and 2 plastic surgeon consultations later, I don't see someone again until December. I just met with a Dermatologist for keloid scar laser services, and within 5 seconds of meeting me, he felt the tip and told me, "this is broken and resurfaced cartilage".
