What procedure helps loose, crepey skin on lower legs. I have already tried BodyTite with no results. Would Sculptra or PDO smooth threads be an option? (Relaxed and flexed in pics)
Answer: Morpheus8 is a great treatment for skin tightening to reduce appearance of crepey skin. Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: CIT It looks like you could be a great candidate for Collagen Induction Therapy. Needling or CIT (collagen induction therapy) is an interesting, low-tech technique that is actually very effective in treating the following skin conditions: wrinkles, loose skin, skin aging, stretch marks (striae distensiae) cellulite, hyperpigmentation and scars. The results can be seen with as little as one treatment, but 3 to 5 treatments are usually recommended to better achieve the average patients goals. The device consists of a roller with up to 200 needles attached to it in an evenly spaced and perpendicular manner. The practitioner applies pressure and rolls the device over the treated area to penetrate the associated dermis thousands of times with the needles. This in turn induces an “avalanche” of collagen production within the dermis, resulting in skin tightening and stretch mark diminishment. This process is often referred to as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT). Of course, an “in person” exam is necessary. I hope this helps, best of luck !
