If Sculptra takes 6 weeks to show, how do you know how much to put without overfilling?

How do doctors know how much Sculptra to put if the results don't show up right away like with other fillers such as Juvederm? Won't there be a risk of overfilling? If overfilled, is there a way to remove it?

Sculptra is a biostimulator that stimulates your body's own production of collagen at a faster rate than than the body normally would. Dermal fillers like Juvederm actually take up space because the HA is in a gel carrier whereas Sculptra does not. It is actually a powder that needs to be mixed with sterile water to be injected. The body will fully absorb this shortly after injecting. There is nothing to dissolve. There may be swelling for several days while healing from the injection. Results typically begin to be seen 8-12 weeks after treatment and usually several treatments spaced out 8 weeks a part are required to achieve optimal results.

Everything with Sculptra and good results comes down to the experience of the plastic surgeon using it. The last thing you want to do is overfill the area that requires treatment. You’re always better off being under filled than overfilled, clearly. The reason is, is that you cannot remove Sculptra by regular means. My recommendation is to go to someone who has a great deal of experience with the use of Sculptra. My other recommendation is go to someone who can potentially use fat grafting instead of sculptra, producing immediate, natural, and permanent results. Great question. No posted photos ? Best response is use very very experience surgeon n injecting this product . Best to under treat and return after 9 weeks fir another minor sessions if needed. I charge $400/vial btw
