Are there surgical options that can help remove bulge caused by lip scar? (photos)

I accidentally fell and bit through my bottom lip in July 2022. The ER did not stitch my lip and also left tiny tooth fragments in there. I then underwent two procedures to take all the pieces out. The last one was done in mid-August. Now there's a soft bulge that feels like some extra tissue on my bottom lip. I have had steroid injections which helped a lot with the scar inside. Is there an surgical option that only removes the top skin instead of the whole lesion? I play the flute. Thanks

Hi and thanks for the question! I think lip filler and later possibly microfat injection would be the best treatment. A surgery would be more likely to leave a scar and may cause muscle mobility issues
