From firsthand experience, I can tell you that none of the treatment options offered to you are going to fix your problem, and are only going to make your problem worse. There is no good treatment for what your concern is. The banana roll is a skinfold That forms in an upright standing position because of skin redundancy, allowing full flexion of your hip joint. If you bend over like you’re tying your shoes you’ll notice that the fold goes away. It is absolutely not related to fat, distribution and removing fat in this area which you have none to remove in. The first place is only gonna leave you looking this figure period. Renuvion delivers zero noticeable skin tightening and is a total scam. Again I speak from firsthand experience, having owned the Renuvion device which completely fails to deliver any skin tightening. You should accept this as being normal and not have it treated. I don’t care how much it bothers you. There is no good treatment for the skinfold. Leave it alone, save money, and save yourself from emotional grief of having operations that can only fail. I’m sure none of the doctors you consulted with could show you before and after pictures of previous patients who look just like you do with quality outcomes. An experience provider should have no difficulty showing you the before and after pictures of at least 50 previous patients for commonly performed procedures. The banana role is not commonly treated because plastic surgeons who understand the problem Will not do surgery because surgery doesn’t fix it. There is no good plastic surgery treatment for the banana roll. Treatments will only make the condition worse. We all understand why we get a skin redundancy or skinfold on our lower abdomen in a sitting position. It makes perfect sense. The back of the thigh in an upright standing position is the exact same but opposite condition as the lower abdominal skin in the sitting position. to have full range of motion there needs to be skin redundancy in both directions. Stop seeking plastic surgery consultations. There’s no shortage of unethical providers. Happy to take your money. Some of these providers may have good intentions, but are simply ill informed and have never done this treatment before. If you read the literature on Renuvion, then it should be able to help you, but it will not. Isn’t device intended for treatment of a gynecological disorder. It really was never meant to tighten skin and it really doesn’t. All before and after pictures using Renuvion can be completely explained by Liposuction alone. You’re not a candidate for liposuction, and there is no skin tightening without direct skin excision. The scar is not worth having a thigh lift. if I haven’t convinced you at this point to avoid plastic surgery for your banana roll, then you are on your own. Best, Mats hagstrom MD
